Club BAYS Uniform Requirements
Please review the below message on uniforms
• All ASC players must wear black shorts.
• They do not need to wear the shorts we provide
but only minimal piping is allowed on any shorts you
provide your son.
Any piping should be less than a 1/16 inch wide. No wide
stripes allowed. Logos are OK.
• As in the past, we no longer supply shorts to BU14
boys because they do not wear them. Please meet the
above requirements when supplying shorts for your BU14
son. We do have extra shorts available; if your son
confirms he will wear ASC shorts, please let your coach
know and he will arrange to get from me.
• All player must wear the same color socks.
Extra or replacement pairs of maroon socks can be
purchased for $5 by the same process as ordering shorts.
Orders should be emailed to your ASC Bays Director via
the team coach. A team can choose to purchase and wear
different color socks as long as the whole team is
wearing the same.
The
laws of the game say all players should wear the
same kit. The referee has the authority to sit down
a player wearing different colors from their team’s
colors. It is also conducive to
team unity and spirit to follow this simple rule.
My observations over 15 years of coaching, and nine
years of coaching boys, tell me that teams that dress
differently for matches are the least disciplined teams
on the field.
Thank you for your co-operation.

ASC Safety Alert on Earrings - The ASC reminds all parents and players that
earrings are not allowed to be worn at any game, practice or
clinic. The restriction to all age groups. We recommend players who are planning to get their ears
pierced wait until the end of the fall season to do so.
Players who get the ears pierced before the season will not be
allowed to cover them with tape or band-aids; if players
cannot remove new ear piercing due to medical restrictions,
then they will not be allowed to participate until they can do
so.
For the safety of all our players, the no-earring policy will
be strictly enforced by all directors, coaches and referees. |
